Logan and Associates has provided information technologists for our clients since 1988, we are one of the oldest technology firms in the city of Milwaukee. We service central Wisconsin's non-profits, churches, and small businesses.

 

We have two specialties:

• Networking for single or multi-site locations, computer labs, and connecting employees to high speed DSL or Cable systems, and

• Digital phone service for customers needing phones from 2-50 extensions, VOIP, or remote access.

 

Established in 1988 Logan and Associates' initial offering was limited to performing basic hardware and software upgrades. The company later moved into database management focusing mainly on the dBase language. Logan and Associates has provided IT consulting and purchasing services to companies such as the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department, Milwaukee Public Schools, the Non-profit Center (formerly M.A.U.D.), Neighborhood Housing Services, Sojourner Truth House, and the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.

 

The primary focus of the company has changed, as have the needs of our customer base. Security issues have become so prominent that we have made a major commitment to promoting the placement of routers, firewalls, and switches in all environments. Companies such as Cisco, D-Link, and Netgear have lowered the price of routers so significantly that they are becoming a norm even in small firms that only have two or three PCs. The issue these days is not whether I can afford to secure my company's investment, but rather "How can I explain to the boss why I did not."

 

Logan and Associates also designs, implements, and manages networks for non-profits, churches, small companies, and schools. We know that IT costs are high so we provide low cost remote monitoring, patch management solutions, fast technical support, and product management at a reasonable cost. We provide workshops ,and one on one hands on training for new and existing IT personnel. We can replace, upgrade, or bolster your IT infrastructure to make sure that it is keeping pace with the demands of today’s computing environment.

 

Our secondary focus is establishing intranets and hosting web sites. The dream of the paperless office has been replaced by employees wondering, how many more forms, why can't I find my documents, and where is that file? Intranets, which contain forms, report depositories, and password protected files will free up your copier and make sure those employees, are always accessing the latest approved materials.

 

Logan and Associates has made a major commitment to introducing new technologies with the support of companies such as Microsoft, Novell, Tech Soup and the Open Source community. We encourage our customers to explore open source products as an enhancement or replacement for more traditional IT solutions.

We now offer access to an online technical library. This library contains books on subjects ranging from basic PC Maintenance to computer networking. Whether you’re trying to teach yourself programming or just using it as a reference, this library is worth its weight in gold.

 

Tired of fumbling your way around Windows® and MS Office®, need help, but on your own time. We are also offering online training for Windows XP® , Windows Vista® and MS Office®. Receive all the training you need when you need it.
